Friendship Report: A Little Push

Dear Readers,

This week I have had a lot of exposure to the army. A large group of them came into the college and gave a presentation to those of us who take sport and public services (which also included the army prep course). That was probably the best thing that could have happened to me, for it helped me put myself back on track.

Friendship Report: Eighteen

Dear Readers,

As you can probably tell, it was someone's eighteenth birthday this week. It was my good friend Nathan's, but his birthday wasn't the only one this week, on Monday my mother turned 55, and on Tuesday my oldest brother turned 27. There is also another eighteenth coming up on Sunday, but thankfully, I'm not invited to Ash's party, I say thankfully because the celebrations for Nathan's party haven't finished yet, and I've already been killed off by those.

Friendship Report: Modern Technology

Dear Readers,

If any of you read my personal blog, you may know that I now have a smartphone, I don't know why I have one, but it was given to me by Nathan's dad, so I'm not going to complain. It's about four years out of date, so it's nothing too fancy, and for those of you who are wondering it's a HTC Desire S, and no, I don't know if HTC are actually a good brand or not, because I've only known of the existence of HTC for six days now.

Friendship Report: Normaility

Dear Readers,

I hope you have been enjoying your return to normality. I for one have, but I'm not liking how all the Valentines Day products have crept into shops over a month before Valentines Day. I've got nothing against Valentines Day, I actually quite enjoy it, and I find it cute, but all that is besides the point, for this post isn't about Valentines Day, but about normality.

MLP: FiM The Return of Harmony now out on DVD + Contest!

Really pleased that these DVDs are finally coming out over here in the UK. I was surprised how quick I saw them pop up in stores back when Primal released their first batch last year. Below catch a press release, they mention this one comes with a special pony toy of sorts, which sounds epic.

Primal Screen, the distributors, are sending us a couple of copies to giveaway! So lets have a contest!

Friendship Report: Nightmare!

I'd like to start off by saying that the title is only slightly misleading, and also gives way to a very anticlimactic post. Anyway, six days into the new year, one of my worst nightmares became reality. The sad part about this is that it truly has been a strange fear of mine for quite some time now, and it's finally happened.

I was surprised to find that I did enjoy my Hearth's Warming for a change, I was also surprised to see the electric fireplace that has all the fancy lights to be turned on. But now it's time to looks towards the new year, which to most of us should be 2015, but for some cultures and religions that number will be different.

I also know that some of you may find it stupid that I'd prefer to say Hearth's Warming and not Christmas. This week I finally got around to watching The Lego Movie, a film that was sadly dwarfed by Frozen when it came out in cinema. Anyway,I found this film to be so good, I had to watch it twice, first on Wednesday, and then just before posting this. Like many films aimed at a younger audience, it had an underlying message, one all of us bronies should know.

As some of you may have guessed, I'm not exactly close to many members of my family. This has just started to strike me as odd, I don't know why it has taken so long, but I have finally realised that it is a bit odd. You might think otherwise, but for someone who gets along with pretty much all of his family, it is a bit strange for him to only be close to one member, especially since two others live in the house.

For me this week has been full of excitement, and it has really cheered me up after my dark epiphany during the weekend. So much has happened that it has pretty much overloaded my mind with anticipation, and various other similar emotions which I can't be bothered to name. A lot of people tend to look upon teachers and think "Ugh. A Monkey could do their job." Or at least, that's how it is where I live. Anyway I've had my hands full with teaching guitar this week, and I've come to realise that when you are trying to teach, even the simplest thing gets on your nerves, and chances are when you get told off by your teachers for "Totes not doing anythin'" chances are you actually were doing something really infuriating.
