Two years of Google+!

You might be wondering why i'm posting about a social network celebrating it's second anniversary. Well, Google+ defined so much of what being a brony meant for me I couldn't not mention this. I remember getting my invite to join the beta back in 2011, it was few months after I first watched FiM, I started with Feeling Pinkie Keen for some reason. As it turns out I wasn't the only brony joining the beta! There were loads of us! We all quickly got to grips with the new social network, fell in love and then Pony+ was born! Back then it was a community of mutually circled bronies. We certainty had fun building the community, with it there were tons of silly memes, trolls and truly memorable personalities. I've seen so many artists start out from just a few sketches and thanks to the hugely supportive community have had the courage to continue and become something really quite amazing. 

So, not just a thank you to Google but a thank you to everyone who's been a part of Pony+, you've made these past two years amazing! Let's hope we can have another good two years ahead of us!

Equestria Girls Review [Spoilers]

It's been over a week now since Equestria Girls hit the big screens and we've all been patiently waiting for our American counterparts to metal gear their way into a cinema and record without getting punched by a soccer mum. For those of you wondering if we're getting an official release here in the UK, we're definitely not, Hasbro has confirmed this.

After running around the house trying to find snacks and being disappointed because we only had a ridiculous amount of oranges in, I sat down and began watching. For those who don't want any spoilers don't join us after the break!

Top 10 Reasons to go to BUCK!

It's almost upon us! The thrilling sequel, the second coming, the empire strikes back or as everyone else knows it, BUCK 2013! In just over two months Bridge Water Hall in Manchester will be opening their doors to the brony fandom for a weekend of awesome. As i've been waiting for this since last year's convention ended and I'm currently dead excited I thought it only fitting to jot up some of the best reasons to attend.

So, here we are! My top ten reasons to attend BUCK this year! List after the break.

Weekly Roundup 1

This is our first ever roundup of sorts. This has been sitting blank in the drafts section for weeks now. For a quick sort of insight into what you can expect from these, I intend to explore things that EQD may have missed or to show them from a different prospective. At the end of the day I don't want to report on news that you'll see else where. I'll only briefly go into common news and focus as best as possible on the strange and wonderful!
