Heyoo! After reading through George's article where he introduces himself, tells his story of how he came to be the brony writer we know and love, I have to say I was touched. It was some deep stuff. It also inspired me to write my own little thing.
So here's my own introduction! It won't be a weekly thing like he has planned, but I feel as though I should tell my own story too.

BUCK/Mareplay Sponsorship Keyring Design Released!

Any of you guys getting the 20% cooler or even the Celestia tier tickets for BUCK next month? Well they've just posted the design for their keyrings that will be given to all holders of those ticket tiers. The keyring shows their logo but with the manticore replaced with Mareplay's OC, since these are sponsorship keyrings after all. Britty and Star Streamer are looking adorable!

These are exclusive by the way, so you'll only be able to grab one if you buy one of those ticket tiers, sadly they won't be available to purchase at the convention.

BUCK 2014 Dates, Venue and Ticket Info Announced!

BUCK has released their dates, venue and tickets have gone on sale. Now I know Birmingham was being thrown about for the last few months but for you midlanders I have to apologise, BUCK'll be in Manchester again on August 23rd - 24th.

This year they'll be heading across the road to Manchester Central, where the Summer Sun Celebration was held last year and MCM Manchester is held. It's a bigger venue that's for sure, I do love Bridge Water but I guess if you want the con to expand you do need to shift over to larger event spaces. I feel we'll be seeing many more vendors this time around as well.

Your Country needs you! ~ For a Military BUCK 2014 Panel!

Hey all! So got something for our brothers in arms! If you're a military brony, you might be quite interested! A brony named Michael Lee is looking to run a military brony panel at BUCK 2014 and he'd obviously like as much help with this as possible! His quote can be found below.

Summer Sun Celebration Review!

Oh woah, where do I even start. This right here, the wonderful music festival that if it had ended here i'd have still been satisfied with the entire weekend. I think everyone else would agree, this is what set BUCK apart from most other conventions out there. There's not really much words can do to express the experience, not to the full extent, really was something you had to have been there for.

Let's start from the beginning, we were all there in the Moon Under Water after filming in the Waldorf for the National Geographic Documentary. For those familiar with the Manechester Muffin meets, the Moon under water is quite a large venue. We took out the entire upstairs, it was a beautiful moment I think, so many bronies all sat down, cheering, eating and drinking in preparation for the upcoming entertainment. Shockingly enough the staff were still able to serve us within a few minutes of ordering, which I have to say, kudos to them.

Why BUCK Why.. I don't want to wait another year!

So BUCK is over, it's been a hell of a weekend. I honestly cannot express how much I enjoyed the entire event, from the pre-meets to the Summer Sun Celebration to the actual con it's self!
Apologies for not getting much out this week, been quite busy recovering from BUCK (and getting rid of Windows 8 on my new laptop..).

Anyway, sadly I'll be without that laptop until Sunday, no I didn't break it, i'll be visiting family in London, and of course attending the Party in the Park tomorrow! So I hope to see lots of you guys there! Seriously, need more pony, post convention depression and all isn't good!

Don't threat though i'll be working on some form of review of BUCK and the Summer Sun eventually. Got my iPad so maybe i'll try and bash something out on that.. though typing on a touch screen just can't compare to a keyboard!

Muffin Meet and Pre-meet going well!

So, the Thursday Muffin meet was truly amazing, the numbers kept going up and down but we were around 45-50 at the height. Taking over the Moon Under water wetherspoons was amazing experience, all the tables at the back upstairs were just surrounded by bronies. The staff were kinda out of their depth but we all managed to get fed and merry. Many awesome bronies were there, especially awesome seeing our European friends, such as the French bronies, Norwegian and of course the Czechoslovakian bronies, including the guy dressed as Zecora who saved the Galacon closing ceremony!

Now it's the actual Pre-Meet, we descended on Star Bucks again, the Czech's brought out My Little Karaoke.. it's quite amazing!

Anyway, soon we're be heading to the Waldorf for the meet and filming with National Geographic! Or back to the Moon under water for the camera shy lot!

Oh! And the summer sun celebration at 7pm, Manchester Central! 

BUCK is this weekend!

I honestly have no idea how it came about so quickly, it just sort of happened! BUCK is taking place this weekend, starting with the Summer Sun Celebration festival on Friday at 7pm. Are you excited? Because i'm excited!

Competition for BUCK!

We'll be hosting a contest during BUCK in a few weeks time. Keep an eye out for a note book being passed about, because that book is your chance to win! The games easy, in the book will be a word, your job is to reply to that word with another word that is associated with said word. Then you'll pass it along to a random person who'll do the same with you word, and so on and so on. Hopefully the book will make it's way back to myself or another Bronies UK admin at the After Convention Breakfast!

The winner will be who ever made the best, most amazing association. There'll be some nifty prizes up for grabs, so make sure you enter!

It's almost upon us! The thrilling sequel, the second coming, the empire strikes back or as everyone else knows it, BUCK 2013! BUCK tickets go on sale!

So that moment we've all been waiting eagerly for, BUCK tickets are now on sale! Looks like they've got a lot planned for us this year! Including the Summer Sun celebration festival on the Friday where many brony musicians will be performing. Though none are announced yet the ticket listings do mention "VIP" guests so we can hope for some of the show staff attending this year round!

My wallet might be crying but I'm super excited for August!
