Is the Everfree Forest dying?

Evidently there is a theory going around that since the Tree of Harmony got the elements back that it's sort of "purifying" the Everfree forest.

Now lets take this theory back to it's roots, no no, that's not a pun I swear. Now if you guys know about the history of The Everfree Forest, which you should, you'll know that sometime after the Elements of Harmony were taken from the Tree of Harmony the forest became overgrown, sort of went out of control and destroyed the sister's castle. Now I do recall something about the emotions and darkness of NMM aiding in the creation of this, but I can't quite remember what source that is from.
All we know is that the area became abounded, weather acted on it's own and magic ran haywire. Everything does link these events to the elements being taken.

Now they've been put back what does this mean? Will The Everfree Forest recede into it's self? The mane six are fixing the castle up currently, so obviously the Princesses intend to use it again for something. Maybe The Everfree forest is dying, it still has all the dangerous beasties in, I wonder where they'll go to when it does. Maybe the forest existed back in the olden time but it was smaller, an Everfree Woods if you will. Maybe it'll return to that.

All we know though is it still holds many mysteries and I don't think we'll ever stop seeing something interesting coming out of it. Discuss your thoughts on The Everfree Forest in the comments!

So, season four is about to bless us with it's presence. I was intending to do many more articles leading up to season four about various theories and looks into what people wanted from season 4. But sadly that didn't really happen. But oh well, no big loss, we'll definitely be seeing a ton of articles come season 4's release. For now, here's a few things i'd love to see in season 4. Which side characters need more love?

Imagine if they brought Steven Magnet back in season 4. That'd be so weird, yet amazing. He was the best character. I am sure you can all agree.

So, which one off side characters would you love seeing getting some more love in season 4? No, Trixie doesn't count, she had two episodes.. and Seth would be too happy.

I'd like to see Twilight's parents actually having a speaking role. If the comics are canon enough to the show we might be seeing just this! Since Twilight's mum is the author of Daring Do in the comics and one of the upcoming season 4 episodes sees the Rainbow Dash and Twilight help the author of their favourite adventure book series to finish their latest.

Calling it, giants crabs will fight Rarity.

With my involvement in Manechester and helping run meets for over a year now and for being a massive fan of such events way before the Brony craze even began I though i'd analyse/critique the results of the poll. Thoughts on Alicorn Fluttershy

Ok, so lets take the bait. Those of you who are aware, the above image has been floating about for a few days now. That and a tweet from M. A. Larson. Now, lets for a second imagine this is legit and season 4 will see Fluttershy becoming an alicorn. I'm surprised I haven't seen more drama revolving around this, maybe people have just accepted it since Twilicorn, but I think we'll likely see quite a bit of drama surface if any more info turns up. How did all of this happen anyway? I mean, honestly, did anyone expect this? Generally most people answer "no idea" and "no" respectfully to both those questions. I think i'll have to go with everyone else on the second one, but the first, well I can give explaining it a shot can't I? Ok, ok, everyone can accept that this fandom happened because of the come together of a group of amazing and creative people, headed by the one and only Lauren Faust. I guess that's it really, could just end the article here and call it a day! Well, I'm not going to do that, since that would be incredibly boring. 1. Colourful badges cover more than 68% of your body!

Ok, I think this was a serious side effect of us Brits not getting much merch until this year. I remember back in the day at MCM the one piece of Pony merch you'd find would be badges. Hundreds and hundreds of pony badges, some just with cutiemarks and even some with full ponies on. Some of the best i've seen would have to be the metal pins from PinFilly. Totally making an order soon! Didn't know they were so cheap.

Equestria Girls Review [Spoilers]

It's been over a week now since Equestria Girls hit the big screens and we've all been patiently waiting for our American counterparts to metal gear their way into a cinema and record without getting punched by a soccer mum. For those of you wondering if we're getting an official release here in the UK, we're definitely not, Hasbro has confirmed this.

After running around the house trying to find snacks and being disappointed because we only had a ridiculous amount of oranges in, I sat down and began watching. For those who don't want any spoilers don't join us after the break!

Top 10 Reasons to go to BUCK!

It's almost upon us! The thrilling sequel, the second coming, the empire strikes back or as everyone else knows it, BUCK 2013! In just over two months Bridge Water Hall in Manchester will be opening their doors to the brony fandom for a weekend of awesome. As i've been waiting for this since last year's convention ended and I'm currently dead excited I thought it only fitting to jot up some of the best reasons to attend.

So, for you guys who just can't get enough pony here in the UK how about attending BronyDays, the French Brony convention to be held in October this year!

Response to the fandom's negativity

I didn't really want to write about this.. nor am I even really compelled to do so either. I just felt it might be of some interest for some people, or at least something to keep me entertained during this train journey I have found myself on. Now, you all obviously must know by now that the Equestria Girls trailer has been released, if not, here it is again.

My opinions on this? As suggested in my previous post about EqG, I loved it. Looking just slightly deeper than what the trailer gives you there is definitely a pretty good overall story for the movie that relates to the show canon and mythology.

So today's been quite the day of ponytastic pranks and jokes. I feel bad for not attempting to do something similar, sadly though i'm pretty rubbish at pranks!

We've had EQD reporting on some insane things, Welovefine selling pony perfumes and the twitterverse has been very active with tons of silly and fun tweets by the community and show staff. And no Google, I don't want to sniff you!

Twicorn - We've seen nothing yet!

Now as you all must know by now, everyone's favourite bookworm pony is set to ascend into a princess pony during the season 3 final. There has been much talk of rage, annoyance and general disbelief in the entire affair. Oddly enough however I have personally seen more talk of drama rather than actual drama among the communities. Many people actually seem incredibly pleased about Twilight's new fancy set of wings. I for one welcome our new overlord  princess. There are a few points I'd like to mention however.
