Tickets on sale 5th June!

Take a deep breath, count to three and prepare your refresh buttons, BronyScot tickets will be going on sale on Friday 5th June at 11am British Standard Time.

We know you’ve all been champing at the bit for our tickets to go on sale, and who can blame you? We’ve made sure costs are as low as we can make them, and you’d be hard pressed to find a better deal this side of the Hebrides!

BronyScot Announces 2015 Date and Location!

Sit back, put on your See You Jimmy Hat and crack open a fresh can of Irn Bru, we’ve got a convention to announce!

BronyScot will be returning to Edinburgh’s Grosvenor Hilton Hotel on Saturday 21 November 2015.

The BronyScot Team have been working hard to make sure 2015 is better than ever! We will have more space, with every nook booked and a team brimming with original ideas.

BronyScot, as ever, is all about the fandom. 2015 will see the return of some of our favourite performers from 2014 - with some surprises thrown in!

We’re able to announce the return of Scandinavia's top export Injustrial, the voice-shifting John Willow and unmistakable artwork from Mad Munchkin and Twigileia. If that didn’t satisfy you, we can throw in the broad-ranging skills of Sketchy Sounds and street beat icon One Wing Pegasus.

If that raft load of talent wasn’t enough, The BronyScot team can announce the return of Rock Nessie. We are putting the finishing touches on our exact plans with the event, but we will let you know as soon as these are firmed up.

Tickets are on sale soon so get ready to saddle up and hit the Highlands.

BronyScot Announces Rock Nessie and First Wave of Musicians!

Well we know you’ve all been waiting for it! Now announcing the most anticipated event at BronyScot, Rock Nessie! Taking place on the evening of the Saturday, the main hall of the Hilton will transform into a lively party where for the next couple of hours a fantastic selection of musicians from the fandom will perform.

Rock Nessie is the perfect place to let down your hair and celebrate all what it means to be brony to the beat of great music.

BronyScot Opening Ticket Sales on Thursday 15th May!

Now for the second most exciting announcement of this month, you know after the big Pokémon reveal and all. We know you've all been waiting for this and the wait is almost over. Yes, you heard that right! We are to be releasing tickets to BronyScot 2014 on Thursday the 15th May at 7:30pm. They'll be available on our website over at www.bronyscot.org.uk.

All tickets grant you access to both the Saturday and Sunday, they also include the party on the Saturday night. Get your tickets quick for a tasty discount with the Early Bird Tier, for only £29. After that they'll be £35.

There's also Nessie's Treasure Trove Tier, which has a bunch of extra goodies for anyone who's wanting to give a little extra to make the event successful! For £99 you'll get entry to the con, entry to the party, exclusive t-shirt, a badge set and art print.

Vendor tickets will also be on sale, so for you guys who are eager to sell your wares at BronyScot make sure you check the ticket page over on our site this coming Thursday for the full scoop.

BronyScot Announces Mareplay UK as Sponsor!

Yes, I had to make Super Smash Bros. reference there, it was the will of Sakurai.

BronyScot are pleased to announce they are now officially sponsored by Mareplay UK, the largest UK retailer of My Little Pony Merchandise! Be sure to check out their stall in the vendor hall. They'll also be hosting a raffle of epic proportions during the convention where a ton of great prizes will be up for grabs.

BronyScot Now Accepting Volunteer Applications!

Something I know many of you have been waiting for! BronyScot, Scotland's first Brony Convention are now accepting applications for their volunteer team. Becoming a volunteer is a great way to get involved with the community and will help make the event fully enjoyable for all.

BronyScot Venue and Date Announced!

On behalf of the BronyScot Events Committee I am proud to be making the announcement that BronyScot 2014 will be held at The Hilton Grosvenor Hotel in the wonderful City of Edinburgh. The event will be taking place over the weekend of the 11th and the 12th of October. We’re extremely excited about the venue for numerous reasons. It is in the heart of the city, just down Princes Street and close to Haymarket Station. It’s very easy to get to from pretty much anywhere in the city. A short 15 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Station, or next to no time via bus or tram.

It’s a great venue, with a main hall that can seat three hundred people, that then leads out into a bustling vendor area. Then there are plenty of large breakaway rooms which will house all sorts of fun activities during the event. On the evening the main hall will be used for a wicked party where a great range of some of the best musicians the fandom has to offer will play late into the night.

Keep your eyes peeled on our website as we’ll be updating it with a bunch of important information in the coming weeks, such as examples of hotels you could stay at and different transportation methods to the City and Venue. We’ll also detail cheap parking locations for you guys driving to the event. Plus other stuff like money saving tips, boring stuff like convention rules and awesome stuff like information on volunteer and vendor applications.

BronyScot: Surprise Nessie Plush!

So, we had just finished a meeting, a few of us had gone to bed, thinking everything was over and done with for the day. When suddenly! We get sent this!! Made by the incredible Greig McGingle! A Nessie plushie! With scarf and all. We really can't get over how amazing this is, it's so well made, it's also his first ever plush, which really speaks a lot for his skill at this craft!

What's even better, Greig's going to donate the plush to our charity auction taking place whilst the event is happening. What a legend! Sadly he doesn't have a Deviant Art profile we could link to!

BronyScot updates it's image and Logo!

BronyScot, the upcoming convention in Edinburgh, Scotland, has just announced a new brand and logo~! Designed by the wonderful Katie Ferguson (remember, the winner from our banner contest??!). I love it, and so does the rest of the committee. It's unique, modern and of course, very Scottish.

To go along with the new logo, Katie also drew a fantastic high detail Nessie, the convention's mascot! Check out her Deviant Art here!

Nessie's creator, Darren, should totally have some sort of story written up for her at some point soon. We'll have to keep poking him.. with haggis.

BronyScot Social Media!

Hello! Guess this is not exactly a new update, have pushed this already over on the UKoE! But definitely need to spread the BronyScot social pages more! We got about 45 likes over on the Facebook page within a few or so, which is quite a good feat! But that's certainly not enough! Especially with the large amount of people who took our survey!

BronyScot Event Announced!

Good evening fillies and gentlecolts! Tonight we are pleased to bring you the first official announcement of the BronyScot Event. As you can guess with our name, we are planning an event in Scotland! That's the Country above England! Specifically we're looking into a selection of venues in the wonderful city of Edinburgh. The date is set to be 2014.

I'm the Communication and PR manager for BronyScot and I am joined by several others who are hard at work planning and organising this event. I'm sure they'll all make themselves known over the next few months.

We would much appreciate it if you could take a little time filling out this simple survey we have prepared.

Make sure to give us as much feedback as possible. This event is mostly intended for Scottish and Northern based bronies, but we'd love to see a few of you Southern guys make it up as well.
