BUCK/Mareplay Sponsorship Keyring Design Released!

Any of you guys getting the 20% cooler or even the Celestia tier tickets for BUCK next month? Well they've just posted the design for their keyrings that will be given to all holders of those ticket tiers. The keyring shows their logo but with the manticore replaced with Mareplay's OC, since these are sponsorship keyrings after all. Britty and Star Streamer are looking adorable!

Finally a Discord Toy! Sadly no Brushable Beard Action!

Sadly it's not a brushable. Come on, be honest you all would love to brush Discord's beard with one of the little brushes you get with the toys.

Funko are releasing a vinyl Discord figure. For anyone who's ever had their hooves on a vinyl figure they should know how amazing their quality is and how show-accurate they are. Obviously though never look under Twilight's Hair, there's just some secrets you never want to find out about. I know you can also get little Discords in the vinyl blind bags, but this is the first decent sized model to hit the high streets, or at least Hot Topic. I still can't get over how there isn't a Hot Topic in Manhattan, the closet is in Queens.

I know this is a somewhat unusual post for this blog. I tend to post news or some type of article, but heck i've had tremendous writers block for a few weeks now so I can't really pass up the opportunity to write something when it's raised my interest.

As it happens I'm going to New York in two weeks, as this year marks my 21st, my brother's 18th and my father's 60th and retirement. Though we're in fact going on my mother's birthday. Family celebrations aside, there's one specific thing I am very excited for. Ok, there's the obvious stuff. Just being in New York for one is going to be incredible, as will trying all the awesome food, riding in a yellow cab and visiting all the cool land marks. But there's one other important thing I don't want to miss out on whilst i'm over in the states and that's The Cheap and Exclusive Pony Merch!

You guys might have seen this shirts here and there over the last year or so. The ideal choice of clothing for all brony ravers! This shirt have LED's that flash different colours making up Dash's mane. Spyker has been selling these for quite a while now at meets, his parties and even had some sold over at Mareplay's stalls are various events. Something I didn't know, the lights react to sound, so that's even more club friendly! The sensitivity can be changed, so if you're just wanting to show it off in a quiet place you can, or if you're jumping and diving at whatever party you've managed stumble in on, it'll work like a charm.

BronyScot: Surprise Nessie Plush!

So, we had just finished a meeting, a few of us had gone to bed, thinking everything was over and done with for the day. When suddenly! We get sent this!! Made by the incredible Greig McGingle! A Nessie plushie! With scarf and all. We really can't get over how amazing this is, it's so well made, it's also his first ever plush, which really speaks a lot for his skill at this craft!

What's even better, Greig's going to donate the plush to our charity auction taking place whilst the event is happening. What a legend! Sadly he doesn't have a Deviant Art profile we could link to!

Pony Books, With Actual Paragraphs!?

I'm sure I have came across these books in passing before but have never really thought too much about them. Always assumed they were picture books. Apparently I was wrong. There is in fact several MLP:FiM books over on Amazon that are, in fact, actual books.

Though maybe the blurb almost sounds like a bit of a fan Brony-fic

Also, "purple activity pages" have they taken up calling Twi "Purple Smart" like some of us do? Also, it's worth checking out the second hand section for dirt cheap ones. I think I might have to pick a few of these up to either do epic readings (yes I know) or reviews (yes, I also know).

There's quite a selection of these books, such as a newer one where Rainbow Dash has to save Daring Do from the IRS, or something.

Fifty Foot Rainbow Dash Destroys City.

Alright, Alright, maybe she's not quite fifty foot. But she certainly is massive. This oversized Rainbow Dash plush is listed as life size, but if anyone knows their little ponies, ponies are roughly the size of a human hand, or similar to the toys. So this one would be a Titan Pony for sure.

For $1000 starting bid, I wouldn't like to imagine how high this goes. Would be a perfect addition to any mad person's home decor. Heck, kids under 50 lbs can right this thing. In that case most of us bronies would crush it. Though I can imagine it falling over and crushing pets. How many cats and pugs has this thing killed? A lot I tell you, a lot. I wish someone would make one of these things for a really obscure OC, would be hilarious. Like Sir Patric the giant alicorn prince, brother of Celestia also her lover.

Queen of Crystals Shirt on sale over at Shirtpunch!

Ok, I know it was posted on EQD, but I damn love Cadance so I can't not post this here! Over at Shirtpunch, one of those 24 hour shirt sites, they've got this lovely Cadance design selling for around $10 with $6 shipping, which is about £10! Definitely a bargain, pick it up before the timer runs out. I would love more Cadance shirts, more Cadance everything in fact. Cadance bedspread, Cadance onesies, Cadance brand cider.

Ok, maybe I mentioned one pretty pink princess a few too many times in this post, but come on! Look at that shirt design, it's fab.

Trixie is looking rather Punk!

So Walmart released some pictures of a new Trixie doll in the Equestria Girls range. She looks goth punk as hell. If the dolls weren't so flimsy i'd consider buying more of them, only got the Twi and Sunset shimmer set myself. Where as MLP toys tend to be a little 'hardy' and sort of have that unbreakable feel to them, the Equestria Girls dolls feel like they'd snap in two if you played with them too hard. Shame really because some of them looks dead stylish!

This is an astounding testament to how quick and skilled this fandom is. Honestly, it's hardly been a day since Bats! aired and some talented brony has already made this completely fab handmade Flutterbat plushie. Here's the link to the eBay listing!

Keychains and necklaces!

Now, this is knock off Chinese merchandise. I believe they are based on some of the freebies Welovefine offer when you spend like over a million pound. But I have to say, the quality is pretty awesome. Many of these sellers are popping up on eBay, I recently bought a Luna keyring, and though it doesn't feel like the best metal in all the world and has a bit of a plastic feel to it, it still looks awesome and is durable. Perfect pony addition to my keys. I'm posting this seller specifically because they have quite an awesome selection and offer both keychains and necklaces. For a really good price as well, just £3.23 without any postage and packaging, these are an unbeatable bargain!

Glitter Funko Ponies from Mareplay!

Possible new blind bags!

Not sure how legit these are, they do look custom painted, but are pretty darn awesome at that. Rainbow Cadance and Dr. Whooves in socks? Can't argue with that. I've always loved the blind bags the most, expect that poor Fluttershy had to share a mould with Rainbow Dash. But yeah,. the blind bags, though overly recoloured are awesome little toys. Some of the best uses of them i've seen are being made into jewellery, such as necklaces and key chains. Other cool uses include and are not limited to, Christmas tree ornaments, computer desk ornaments, projectile weapons and a tasty snack if you're lost in the Sahara desert.

New pony toys announced at SDCC!

During SDCC a ton of new toys were announced, including a few marked as "adult toys". Dirty jokes aside, these models are on the more expensive side, of very high quality and even have gem stones encrusted into them. What's your thoughts on this? Would you pay extra for a toy just because of some gems? They're certainly awesome looking. Funny thing as well, some stores are listing Vinyl Scratch as a male.. so.. yeah, changes everyone's head-canons!
